NEW YORK — Thunderstorms have started in the Bronx, and Danny Cunningham brought the iPad out to the home plate umpire, Vic Carapazza to show the storm and determine next steps.
Thunderstorms are projected to come through the Bronx over the next several hours, but the game is expected to continue.
UPDATE 07/08/25 8:40pm:
The tarp is coming off the field and the Yankees announce that the game will resume shortly. The Rain Delay lasted just about a half hour.
